Highlights

The tour begins when you are picked up at your hotel and driven 50 km from Da Nang city to My Son Sanctuary. Nestled in a wide valley between two mountain ranges, My Son Sanctuary was the site of many Cham Temples. Used for religious ceremonies by the Kings of the Champa Dynasty, it is also believed to be a burial site of Champa Royalty. The My Son temples complex is one of the foremost examples of Hinduism in South East Asia and is one of the most important heritage sites in Vietnam. Though the complex has been ravaged by time and war, we can still see many majestic ancient ruins of the temples here.

After touring, you have the choice to get back to Hoi An town by boat. Where we will travel up the Thu Bon River by a motorized boat, stop en route to visit the traditional Kim Bong Carpentry Village before having lunch at the local market.

After lunch, exploring Hoi An on foot is one of the best ways to take in the city’s charm. While exploring the small yet beautiful town, tourists and frequent visitors alike find that it is an easy place to find peace and quiet. The unique atmosphere here combines elements of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese culture. Ancient houses which reflect the blend of cultures offer some of the most remarkable views of the city. From here, visitors can catch a glimpse of a long-gone past, a more subdued and simple time.
