We will start the trip by visiting Reunification Palace, whose former name was Norodom Palace. Ngo Viet Thu designed this stunning palace. Later, destinations consist of Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum. This museum has exhibits on the Vietnam War and the Indochina Wars are displayed. After enjoying lunch at the local restaurant, you will be taken to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Before entering allotted areas of Cu Chi Tunnels, you will watch an introductory video to gain an overview of the tunnel system’s history and Vietnamese’s life during the difficult wars. You will have a chance to climb down into small tunnels that will blow your mind when the special constructed living areas and martial facilities of Viet Cong appear before your eyes. It will be great to know the system of tunnels –a subterranean village where there are bedrooms, kitchens, field hospitals, command centers, weapons factories, and storage. Moreover, you will have a taste special tea and cassava – the common food of Vietnamese guerillas in the past. During a break you can relax or try to shoot a real gun used in one of the wars.
