Day 1: Ha Noi - Sa Pa – Love Waterfall – Cat Cat village
Sapa is oriented to make the most of the spectacular views emerging on clear days; it overlooks a plunging valley, with mountains towering above on all sides. Views are often subdued by thick mist rolling across the peaks, but even when it's cloudy, local hill-tribe people fill the town with color. In this trip, we will take you on a journey to Sa Pa and its amazing sights such as Tram Ton pass, Cat Cat village, Muong Hoa valley, and more. First, our drivers will take you to Tram Ton Pass where you can see incredible views of the surrounding mountains and lush forest of the Hoang Lien Son National Park. From there you will start trekking a 30-minute trip through a forest full of wildflowers. This path will take you to Cat Cat village where we can stop by a stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station. Trekking along a narrow river until you reach Y Linh Ho village. There will be a chance to take a rest at Muong Hoa village, before climbing toward the road where the driver is waiting to transport you back to Sa Pa.
Day 2 : Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai
Depart from Sapa by car to Lao Chai village, following the road down the hill. Along the route you will catch sight of the Muong Hoa valley and its magnificent surrounding mountains as well as rice terrace fields. Along the road, you are likely to meet people from many ethnic groups (H’mong, Zay, and Red Dao) in there stalls along the road that serve tea, fruits, and sweets. Soon after turning off the main road, you can take a local path, to the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai, where you will experience the daily life of the villagers. After that, we will walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village, where the Zay hill tribes live. Here you take a rest and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by your local guide their house. After lunch, you will trek up and downhill and through the bamboo forest then relax beside the waterfall. Explore the Red Dao village of Giang Ta Chai where you will have the chance to see their daily activities. In the afternoon, the car will pick you up for the return journey to Sa Pa where you will spend the night.
Day 3: Sa Pa – Suoi Ho – Ma Tra – Ta Phin – Lao Cai – Ha Noi
We leave Sa Pa town, trekking to Suoi Ho Village to see tea plantations and cardamom gardens. We will follow the buffalo trails to visit the hospitable villages of the Black Hmong minority people in Ma Tra. After passing a school and scenic views en route, a picnic lunch will be served. After lunch, we will continue our trek to Ta Phin Village where we will visit the Red Dao people and their handicraft shops. In the afternoon, we will reach the road where your driver will be waiting to transport you back to Lao Cai station to catch the night train back to Ha Noi.
